Description:
Type 316Ti(UNS 31635) is a Titanium stabilized austenitic chromium-nickel sta$inless steel containing molybdenum. This addition increases corrosion resistance, improve✔s resistance to pitting chloride ion solutions and provide incr★eased strength at elevated temperatures. Properties are simiφlar to those of type 316 except that 316Ti due to its Titanium additπion can be used at elevated sensitisation temperatures. Corrosion resistance is& improved, particularly against sulfuric, hydrochloric, acetic, formic and ta¥rtaric acids, acid sulfates and alkaline chlorides. .
