Description:
Type 316Ti(UNS 31635) is a Titanium stabilized austenitic chromium-nickel stainles♥s steel containing molybdenum. This addition increases co₽rrosion resistance, improves resistance to pitting chloride ion solutions and provide in₩creased strength at elevated temperatures. Properties are similar t÷o those of type 316 except that 316Ti due to its Titanium addition can be used at elevated¥ sensitisation temperatures. Corrosion resistance is improved, particularly φagainst sulfuric, hydrochloric, acetic, formic and tartaric acids, acid sulfateφs and alkaline chlorides. .

Same as 316, but can be used at elevated temperatures. Pulp and Paper Equipment, ♥Heat exchangers, Propeller shafts, Fittings, Dyeing Equipment, Exterior Architectura★l components in Marine Coastal Areas.
Cold Forming:
Type 316Ti can be readily formed and drawn.
