Description:
Incoloy is a nickel ferrochrome alloy designed for ox$idation and carbonation at elevated temperatures.Incoloy alloy has many §kinds: common such as Incoloy800, Incoloy800H, Incoloy800HT, Incoloy825, Incoloy↔840, Incoloy901, Incoloy925, Incoloy20, Incoloy330, Incoloy 25-6mo,♦ etc.The alloy contains a small amount of the metallic elements molybdenum and copper.In re∞ductive acid and oxidizing acid, it has good corrosion resistance, as well as good resistance toγ stress corrosion cracking, pitting and crevice corrosion.It has excellen¶t corrosion resistance to sulfuric acid and phosphori™c acid.The alloy has good cold and hot working properties and i≤s easy to be formed and welded.The main products of this alloy are rods, tubes, plates, strips,γ wires and forgings, etc. It is mainly used in the ₽chemical, petrochemical, nuclear and rare metal refining industries.
Incoloy 800 alloy is a high-nickel heat resistant steel, which has good strength£, corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance in high temperature enviro≤nment.The composition is similar to austenitic stainless steel and has s↑imilar properties to Inconel alloy

Incoloy 800 (N08800) nickel base alloy overview:
The alloy has high chromium content and enough nickel content, ♦so it has high resistance to high temperature corrosion.
In chloride, low concentration NaOH aqueous solution and high t₹emperature and pressure water, it has excellent stress corrosion cracking resistanc≈e, so it is used to manufacture equipment for stress corrosion cracking resistance.
Corrosion resistance is better than general austenitic stainless steel and Inconel 600 alloy.
It is also superior to Inconel 600 and Monel 400 al↔loys in the manufacture of corrosion resistant stres₽s cracking equipment.

Heat treatment
As with austenitic stainless steel, the austenitic structure, heat treatment can also be used in >the same way as austenitic stainless steel.The commonly available heat treatment met✔hods are as follows.
Annealing 980 ~ 1100℃ quench
Stress relief annealing 780 ~ 870℃ air cooling
Plastic processability
The hot working and cooling properties are roughly the same as those of austenitiδc steel.Thermal processing temperature is 1000 ~ 1230℃, simple processing can be carried out under 850℃.However, cracking wi✔ll occur in the temperature range of 650 ~ 850℃, pleas e be sure to avoid.The cold machinability is exactly the same as that of austeniticβ stainless steel, but the work hardening characteristic is slightly lower than that of aust→enitic stainless steel.
weldability
As with standard austenitic stainless steels, TIG welding, MIG welding, and manuaβl arc welding may be used.
High temperature properties
Due to its high Ni and Cr content, it has a high resis tance to oxidation and carburizing at high temperature, and its oxidation resistance is better thβan SUS 310S, even close to NAS 600.The high temperat×ure intensity is basically the same as that of NAS 600.It is wid♥ely used in heat resistant materials and does not cause embrittlement during use'.
Generally used in the temperature range below 600℃.NAS 800H/NAS 800T is recommended¥ for higher temperatures and creep performance requirements.
Corrosion resistance
It has good corrosion resistance in oxidizing corrosive environment such as nitric acid, nitric ac♠id and sulfuric acid mixture, and molten salt such as soda salt, and is mo£re sensitive to stress corrosion cracking than standard austenitic stainl✘ess steel.

It is widely used in outer sleeve of electric heater, thermocouple protection tube, heat treatme↕nt furnace and materials used in high temperature environment.
