Description:
Pure nickel materials of different purity are mainly used in the fields o™f chemical industry, electroplating and electronics. Its corrosion resi stance has good corrosion resistance in other reducing media except for its poor performancδe in alkaline media. Pure nickel has higher electrical conductivity, thermal cond↕uctivity and plasticity than nickel-based alloys. Pure nickel can be processed into products of πdifferent shapes.

The characteristics of commercial pure nickel or low alloy nickel are very useful in many fields÷, such as chemical processes and electronics. Nickel has some resista"nce to various reducing chemicals, and resistance to caustic iεs irreplaceable. Compared with nickel-based alloys, commercial pure nickαel has higher conductivity and thermal conductivity, as well as higher Cur♦ie temperature and good magnetostrictive properties. Annealeσd nickel has low hardness and good ductility and flexibility. These pr₹operties, combined with their good solderability, make the met al easy to form. Nickel has a relatively low rate of work hardening, but it ca•n be cooled to a medium strength level and maintain its d≈uctility.
N6 pure nickel alloy has good mechanical properties and excellent resistance in ©many corrosive environments. Other useful features of the alloy include its magnetic properties, ma¥gnetostrictive properties, high thermal and electrical conducπtivity, low gas content and low evaporation pressure. The corrosion resistanc∑e of N6 makes it particularly useful in applications s€uch as food, man-made fibers and caustic that require® product purity. It is also widely used when corrosion r±esistance is a primary consideration in structural applications. Other ∞uses include chemical drums, electrical and electronic components, aerospace, and€ missile components.

The main thoroughfare of N6 (Nickel 200, N02200) pure nickel allo∏y:
N6 pure nickel alloys have good mechanical properties at higher temperatures, however nicke✔l 200 is typically limited to use below 600 °F (315 °C). At high temperatures, theδ nickel 200 product will be graphitized, which will seriously degrade the performance of the p≤roduct. When used above °F (315 °C), nickel 201 is more commonly us↕ed. Pure nickel N6 and nickel N4 are structural materials approved by ASME Boiler and Pre¶ssure Vessel Code. The N6 approved service temperature can reach 600°F (315°C) and the' N4 approved service temperature can reach 1250°F (677°C).
Corrosion resistance of pure nickel
Pure nickel is particularly resistant to alkali coγrrosion and is stable in high temperature or molten alkali, so it♥ is mainly used in the alkali industry. Nickel is extremely stable in seawater →and salt solutions and organic media (such as fatty acids, phenols, alcohols, etc.) at room ♦temperature. Not resistant to inorganic acid corrosion, also unstable i©n acetic acid and formic acid.

1. N6 is a pure commercial nickel with very low carbβon content and has been approved for use in high temperature enviro nments up to 300 °C.
2. N6 application areas:
(1), food processing equipment, salt refining equipment.
(2) Mining and marine mining.
(3) Equipment required for the manufacture of industrial sodium hydroxide at high temperatureπs below 300 °C.
(4) Production of organic or inorganic chlorides and fluor•ides: resistance to chlorine and fluorine gas.
