Description:

Incoloy 330 (N08330) is a nickel-iron-chromium austenitic alloy designed for oxidation and carbu™rization in high temperature environments. The nickel conten¥t of 34% to 37% gives the material a high resistance to chloride stress corrosion Ωcracking and sigma phase precipitation embrittlement. The material is♠ processed by standard machining procedures for stainless steel and nicke§l alloys. It is widely used in the environment of combination o f cyclic heating and carburizing to resist corrosion. Incoloy 330 stainless steel is an austeniti≠c heat and corrosion resistant alloy with a combination of ∏strength and resistance to carburization, oxidatio•n and thermal shock resistance. This alloy is designed for use in high∏ temperature industrial environments where the combi ned effects of carburization and thermal cycling are nec←essary, such as in the heat treatment industry. Carburizing and oxidation resistance to abou↔t 2100 °F is an increase in the silicon content of the all∞oy.

2, Incoloy 330 (N08830) nickel-based alloy specific heat:
(1): 0.11 BTU/lb/°F (32 - 212°F) (British heat/pounds/→Fahrenheit).
(2): 460 Joules/kg/°C (0 - 100°C) (Coke/kg/Cel↕sius).

Incoloy 330 (N08830) nickel base alloy corrosion resistan§ce:
Incoloy 330 (N08830) has excellent corrosion resistance, especially for oxidation, car∑burizing and nitriding environments. In an aqueous medium environment, the chromiπum component of 330 is resistant to oxidative environment€al corrosion, and the nickel component enhances resistance to reducing §corrosion. The high nickel content of the alloy gives the material a strong resistance to ch≠loride stress corrosion cracking and sigma phase embrittlement.
Incoloy 330 (N08830) nickel-based alloy oxidation resistance:
Incoloy 330 (N08830) has excellent oxidation resistance an∞d excellent anti-fouling ability at temperatures up to 2000°F (1095°C). Any oxide s÷cale will adhere tightly to the surface of the material, especially under alterna←ting thermal and thermal cycling conditions.

Incoloy 330 (N08830) nickel-based alloy carburization resistance:
35% nickel and a certain amount of silicon give the material excellent resistance t‍o carburization. Alloy 330 exhibits excellent resistance to "g reen rot" in alternating environments of carburizatio✔n and oxidation.

Incoloy 330 (N08830) Ni-based alloy heat treatment:
Incoloy 330 (N08830) is an austenitic stainless steel↓ that cannot be hardened by heat treatment. Hardening can only★ be achieved by cold working to reach room temperature strength. For most high temper&ature applications, 330 is not annealed after cold forming or welding. If the material ↓needs to be completely annealed, it should be carried out at a temperature♣ range of 1870-2050 °F (1020-1120 °C). Water quenching of the material gives the best cre>ep resistance, but the same effect can be achieved by rapidly co↕oling to below 800 °F (425 °C).

Incoloy 330 (N08830) nickel base alloy manufacturing:

Incoloy 330 (N08830) alloys can be hot formed or cold formed using standard procedures "for austenitic stainless steels and nickel alloys. The work hardening rate of the alloy can be c™ompared to other austenitic stainless steels. It is recommended to shape the material at room tem¥perature. If the material requires hot working, the material should be uniformly heated to ↓2050-2150 °F (1120-1180 °C) and then lowered to 17501⁄4 °F​ (950 °C) for thermal insulation. The material should be cooled by water qu×enching.
We recommend annealing after hot working to ensure the best corrosion ↓resistance and optimum grain structure of the material. The mate∏rial cannot be forged or bent in the range of 1200-1600 °F (650-870 °C) because t'he ductility of the material is low in this temperature ran ge, which may cause the intergranular structure of the austenitic alloy material to rupture.

Incoloy 330 (N08830) nickel-based alloy welding:

Incoloy 330 (N08830) can be welded by tungsten arc weldingπ, electrode welding and plasma arc machining, and the best♥ corrosion resistance is obtained by tungsten arc welding. Prior to welding, the ma↓terial should be annealed and kept clean and free of dirt, grease and other im←purities. Grinding should be performed within one inch of both sides of the joint. The temperature ±between the solder layers should not exceed 300 °F (150 °C), and heat t÷reatment is not required before or after soldering. All♣oy 330 can be welded to different types of metals.
