Description:
Hastelloy is a nickel-based corrosion-resistant alloy, which is mainβly divided into nickel-chromium alloy and nickel-chromium-molybd enum alloy. Hastelloy C22 is based on C276 to improve the chromium conte₹nt of the alloy and reduce molybdenum and tungsten, of which the carbon and antimony co∏ntent is extremely low, which is to improve the corrosion of strong oxidizing medium of C4↑ and C276. Although the corrosion resistance of the oxidizing medium is improved, pitt↓ing corrosion resistance and crevice corrosion are not significan♠tly improved. Hastelloy C-22 Material Description:
C-22 alloys have outstanding resistance to pitting, seam corrosion and stress corro♥sion cracking. Because of its higher chromium content, C-22 is more resistant to corrosion than↕ oxidizing acids and acid-rich residues such as dissolved oxygen, iron ions and liquid chlorine. The alloy is only used in ☆a smaller range than the C-2000. Used in most corr↔osive environments and most complex pharmaceutical reactor✘s for flue gas desulfurization systems.
Hastelloy C-22 corrosion resistance:
The alloy is suitable for use in a variety of chemical process industries containing oxidizing and≤ reducing media. The higher molybdenum and chromium content make the a®lloy resistant to chloride ions, and the tungsten element further enhances its corrosion resistance. Hastelloy C-22 is one of only a few materials that a₹re resistant to the corrosion of moist chlorine, hypochlorite aλnd chlorine dioxide solutions. The alloy has signifiφcant corrosion resistance to high concentrations of ∏chloride solutions (eg chlorination). Iron and copper chloride).

Corrosion resistance and main use environment:
The C-22 alloy has the characteristics of corrosion resistanc e to both oxidizing acid and reducing acid by virtue of the contents of Cr, Mo, W and the control o✘f the Fe content, and also has corrosion resistance whe'n containing a mixed acid. The alloy is particularly suitable for pitting and crevice corrosion in acid halide environments. C-22 nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy, lik☆e C-276, contains tungsten and very low levels of carbon and silicon. It also has theσ same characteristics: 1. Excellent corrosion resistance to most corr osive media in the oxidized and reduced state. 2; Excellent resistance to pitting∏, crevice corrosion and stress corrosion cracking.
