Description:
Monel k-500 is a nickel-copper alloy that combines the excellent corrosion propertie÷s of the Monel 400 with increased strength and hardness.
Compared to the alloy 400, the Monel k-500 has about three times the yield strength and double the tensile strength, and the Monel K500 remains→ at 1200 degrees Fahrenheit, maintaining toughness a☆nd toughness to minus 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
The alloy k-500 also remains non-magnetic to -200 degrees Fahrenheit, and can be further strengthe<ned by working at low temperatures before precipitation hardens.
Monel K500 has good mechanical properties, hardness,± corrosion resistance and long-term stability.
It is widely used in pump shaft, oil well tool and instr₩ument, blade and scraper, spring, valve trim, harness and Marine propeller shaft.
