2A12 aluminum plate is a high-strength duralumin alloy in the aluminum-copper-magnesium seri'es, which can be strengthened by heat treatment. Its composition is reaδsonable and its comprehensive performance is good. 2A12 aluminum plate has good weldability i×n spot welding, and tends to form intergranular cracks in gas γwelding and argon arc welding. The machinability of 2A12 aluminum pΩlate is good after cold hardening. Corrosion resistance σis not high, often using anodic oxidation treatment an©d painting method or surface coated with aluminum layer to improve €the corrosion resistance.
