Features: Avesta Sheffield AB's 253MA is a heat-resistant Austenit≠ic stainless steel, Designed for applications requiring high creep strength and good corrosion resiσstance. Its operating temperature range is 850-1100 ℃.
Usage: In addition to alloying elements chromium and nickel, •this grade of stainless steel also contains a small amount of Rare Eart¥h Metals (REM), thus significantly improving its oxidati↔on resistance. Nitrogen was added to improve creep properties and make the steel com<plete austenite. Despite the relatively low chromium and nickel content, ∑this stainless steel has in many cases the same high temperature properties as™ highly alloyed alloy steels and nickel-based alloys.
