Description:
Type 317L (UNS 31703) is a low carbon austenitic chromium-nickel stβainless steel that can be used in applications where it is not possibleσ to anneal after welding and where maximum corrosion resistan≈ce is required. It provides good oxidation resistance in intermittent service t↔o 1600°F and in continuous service to 1700°F.
