Physical Properties:
Annealed:
Ultimate Tensile Strength – 75 KSI min (515 MPA min)
Yield Strength (0.2% Offset) – 30 KSI min (205 MPA min)
Elongation – 40% min
Hardness –Rb 95 max
Corrosion Resistance:
321 has excellent corrosion resistance equivalent to type 302♣ or 304 in the annealed condition and superior if a weldment in these grades has not been post-we↔ld annealed or if the application involves service in the 800°F – 1600°F range.
Heat Treatment:
Type 321 is non hardenable by heat treatment. It can only be hardened by cold w<orking.
