Description:
Monel k-500 is a nickel-copper alloy that combines the excellent co©rrosion properties of the Monel 400 with increased strength and hardness.
Compared to the alloy 400, the Monel k-500 has about three times the yi÷eld strength and double the tensile strength, and the Monel K500δ remains at 1200 degrees Fahrenheit, maintaining toughness and toughness to minus 400 deg≈rees Fahrenheit.
The alloy k-500 also remains non-magnetic to -200 degrees Fahrenheit, and can be further÷ strengthened by working at low temperatures before precipi'tation hardens.
Monel K500 has good mechanical properties, hardness, corrosion resistance and long-term stability.
It is widely used in pump shaft, oil well tool and instrument, blade and scraper, sprin<g, valve trim, harness and Marine propeller shaft.
