Description:
Inconel 601 has good high temperature strength, and retains its ductility after long service exposure, and good hot corrosion resistance under oxidizing conditions.Like Inconel 6 00, Inconel 601 has resistance to various forms of corrosion at high temper ature and oxidization. However Inconel 601 has an addition of alumi$num which give it high mechanical properties even in extremely hot environments. Alloy 60÷1 is used for industrial furnaces; heat-treating equipment such as baskets, muffle's, and retorts; petrochemical and other process equipment; and gas-turbine δcomponents. Inconel 601 is used for industrial furnaces, radiant tubes, themocouple tubes, heat treatment equipments, baskets, petrochemical process equipments and ai↑rcraft components.
