Nickel-based superalloy INCONEL 690 has excellent corrosion resistance and thermal stability. Excellent resistance to fluoride and hot niδtric acid; excellent resistance to acid solution corrosiσon and stress corrosion in chloride and polythiol ↕acid medium; good crevice corrosion in alkaline medium and oxi×dation resistance in high temperature atmosphere And chloride corrosion and so on.
Inconel 690 (UNS N06690) nickel-based alloy with a chromium con₹tent of 27.0-31.0% and a nickel-based alloy with a nickel content of approximaβtely 59%. Inconel 690 (UNS N06690) nickel-based alloy has excellent resistance to intergra"nular corrosion and intergranular stress. The ability of corrosion cracking iγs mainly used for the heat transfer tube material of the steam generator of the pressurized© water reactor nuclear power plant. The material of the steam generator heat transfer tube of tΩhe pressurized water reactor nuclear power plant has undergone a development process, including 30¥4 austenitic stainless steel, 600 alloy, 800 alloy and 690 alloy. Corrosion failure studies i≥n the service of 600 alloys show that intergranular corrosion and i★ntergranular stress corrosion cracking are the main problems. 690 alloy is used as the &heat transfer tube material for the steam generator of the pressurized ♣water reactor nuclear power plant.
