Incoloy is a nickel ferrochrome alloy designed for oxidati∞on and carbonation at elevated temperatures.Incoloy alloy haσs many kinds: common such as Incoloy800, Incoloy800H, Incoloy800HT, Incolo€y825, Incoloy840, Incoloy901, Incoloy925, Incoloy20, Incoloy330, Incoloy 25-6mo, etc.The alloy c↕ontains a small amount of the metallic elements molybdenum and copper.In reduct ive acid and oxidizing acid, it has good corrosion resistance, as well as ↑good resistance to stress corrosion cracking, pitting and crevice corrosion.It has excellent♥ corrosion resistance to sulfuric acid and phosphoric acid.The alloy ¥has good cold and hot working properties and is easy to γbe formed and welded.The main products of this alloy are rods, tubes, plat≠es, strips, wires and forgings, etc. It is mainly used in the chemical, petrochemical, nucl♦ear and rare metal refining industries.

Incoloy 800 (N08800) nickel base alloy overview:
The alloy has high chromium content and enough nickel content, so it has high resistance to≈ high temperature corrosion.
In chloride, low concentration NaOH aqueous solution and high temperat§ure and pressure water, it has excellent stress corr"osion cracking resistance, so it is used to manufacture equipment for stress corrosioσn cracking resistance.
Corrosion resistance is better than general austenitic stainless steel and Inconel 600 alloy.γ
It is also superior to Inconel 600 and Monel 400 alloys in the manufacture of c orrosion resistant stress cracking equipment.

Heat treatment
As with austenitic stainless steel, the austenitic structure, heat treat"ment can also be used in the same way as austenitic stai★nless steel.The commonly available heat treatment methods are as fo↕llows.
Annealing 980 ~ 1100℃ quench
Stress relief annealing 780 ~ 870℃ air cooling
Plastic processability
The hot working and cooling properties are roughly ★the same as those of austenitic steel.Thermal processing temperature i→s 1000 ~ 1230℃, simple processing can be carried out under 850℃.However, cracking will occur ₽in the temperature range of 650 ~ 850℃, please be su<re to avoid.The cold machinability is exactly the same as that of aust∞enitic stainless steel, but the work hardening characteristic is slightly lo™wer than that of austenitic stainless steel.
weldability
As with standard austenitic stainless steels, TIG welding, MIG welding, and manual δarc welding may be used.
High temperature properties
Due to its high Ni and Cr content, it has a high resistance to oxidation and carburizing↑ at high temperature, and its oxidation resistance is better than SUS 310S, even close to NAS 60₽0.The high temperature intensity is basically the sam↔e as that of NAS 600.It is widely used in heat resistant materials and does not cause embrittlemen♠t during use.
Generally used in the temperature range below 600℃.NAS 800H/NAS 800T is recommended for ♦higher temperatures and creep performance requirements.γ
Corrosion resistance
It has good corrosion resistance in oxidizing corrosive environment such as nitric acid,← nitric acid and sulfuric acid mixture, and molten salt such as soda salt, and is more sensitivΩe to stress corrosion cracking than standard austenitic stainless steel.

It is widely used in outer sleeve of electric heater, thermocouple protecti↓on tube, heat treatment furnace and materials used in high temperature en≈vironment.
