It is not related to other pipes and housings, even if the tempera☆ture difference between the shell and the pipe is large. U-tube heat exchangers are ofte→n used to circulate water to cool high temperature gase₽s in actual production. After corrosion or leakage of heat exchanger pipeline, only the₹ core can be replaced, but it is not suitable for cleaning.
The typical structural characteristics of U-tube heat exchangers are: there is only one tu®be plate, the tube bundle is composed of a plurality of U-shape♦d tubes, the two ends of the tube are fixed on the same plate, the pipe can be f✔reely telescoped, when the shell and U-type heat exchange tub¥e have temperature differences, there will be no thermal stress.
Due to the limitation of the curvature radius of the bend, the heat exchange tube discharge is≠ less, the inner tube distance of the tube bundle is& large, the utilization rate of the tube plate is low, and the fluid sho§rt circuit of the shell is not conducive to heat transfer. When the pipeline leaks anσd damages, only the U-shaped tube outside the tube bundle can be replaced, and the intern₩al heat exchange tube is damaged and can only be blocked, and the U-shaped tube •damage is equivalent to the damage of two tubes, anλd the scrapping rate is higher.
U-tube heat exchanger is simple in structure, cheap in pri ce and strong in bearing capacity. It is suitable for occasions whe₽re the temperature difference of pipe wall is large or the shell medium is easy to scale "and need to be cleaned. It is not suitable for floating head type and fixed tube βplate. Especially suitable for high temperature, high pressure, corrosive pipe cleaning↓ materials, not easy to scale.
